Hi, this is Keith from The Social Savior and in this video I’m going to show you how to find, like, and engage with other businesses on Facebook.
Now, the reason you want to do this is just by liking or commenting on other pages, you’re getting yourself in front of audiences larger than your own but also by doing this it gives you the opportunity to reach out to these other businesses and build a little network of people that help each other. You could share their content with your audience, they can share your content with theirs and their reach might be a lot bigger than yours sometimes. So, let’s look at how we can do this.
We’re going to start out by going to business.facebook.com and we’re going to open up your Facebook business page. In your business page, up the top right hand corner we’re going to click on to “use Facebook as your page” and we’re going to click on to “use Facebook as your page” again. Okay, this loads us to regular Facebook, but, we’re logged in as our business instead of ourselves. So anytime we like, comment or share content it’s going to show the page we do that to that it’s from Keith’s sports club.
So, let’s find some businesses to connect with. We’re going to click on to the search bar at the top and in the case of my sports club, we’re going to type “Sports Club” and we’re going to go find more results to sports club down the bottom. Now what we’re looking for is other businesses that we can first of all like, then also share their content, or comment on their page. So let’s open Melbourne Cricket Club.
First of all, like the page and then open up the page. Okay, so within this page here, we could write a comment on their page and that would come from our business. If we did that, up to 50,000 people who have liked their page could possibly see that post.
Further down, we could find interesting content to share with our audience. We could comment on the content or we could like the content. Doing any of those, the Melbourne Cricket Club gets a notification saying that Keith’s sports club has liked, commented or shared on this. And it gets us seen, both by the business and possibly by their audience as well.
So in the beginning, what you want to do is find a handful of businesses that you can check every day, comment on every day, share with every day and eventually send them a private message and see if they would be willing to share some of your content as well.
Okay, that’s it for this video. Thanks for watching.
